What to Pack

Stuff

It’s an elopement, baby!
And we thrive on DIY…

We are asking guests to bring any cameras, handheld video equipment, Polaroid cameras, or whatever else to capture the moments.

We will have a photographer on site, but more-so, we want to see the wedding from an un-edited viewpoint of our guests.

While the gobs of text on this website suggest otherwise, this is a make-our-own fun event. Bring whatever accessories, games, or literally anything that you want to punch up the experience.

Food

We will be feeding everyone breakfast and dinner on Wednesday and Thursday. All other meals are the responsibility of the guest, so please plan accordingly.

We recommend picking up snacks and pre-made food to keep in your airstream. The town of Taos is just a short skip away if you want to eat there. There is always the option to order lunches as a group and have them picked up.

Wednesday night is our very own Hibachi chef at Hotel Luna Mystica! Please include your protein choice in your RSVP. We will provide beer and wine; please bring anything else you’d like

Thursday’s dinner will be Mexican themed with a Margarita bar for cocktail hour and the reception.

For the afterparty, we will provide beer and wine; please bring anything else you’d like. The venue is BYOB.

Everyone has their preferences

Clothes

This is a party in the desert, layers will be your friend.

The wedding ceremony dress code for all you Cowboys and Cowgirls is Southwestern Semi-Formal.

Jami’s girlies and Kyle’s guy-ies (and everyone in between) are the wedding party, but there will be no coordinated suit or dress rental.

Personality is encouraged. If you need some inspiration, please reference this Pinterest board.

Keep in mind that Taos has an elevation of almost 7,000ft, and temps range greatly. In May, there are highs in the mid 70’s (F) and lows can reach into the 40’s at night. Please bring a ton of layers.
